EXPERIENCE KALMAR FROM THE WATER!
Experience Kalmar from a different side – from the water! From our kayak rental in central Kalmar, we offer everyone the opportunity to get out on the water, regardless of experience level. We only offer self-service, which means that we do not have any staff on site, but you book your experience yourself, pick up your equipment and enjoy Kalmar from the water. With us, you can choose to rent canoes or one- and two-man kayaks.
Great for family paddling, as we can offer two-man kayaks where two paddle together but one steers.
The beautiful area and the calm water in the canal up towards Fredrikskans and Lindö or south towards Kalmar Castle, are perfect places for paddling. A warm welcome!

(SELF-SERVICE, GUIDANCE WIND/PADDLING LEVEL, PACKING LIST)

Guidance: Wind Strength and Paddling Level
Here are some general guidelines for what different wind strengths mean for paddling:
1–3 m/s: Light wind – Suitable for beginners
4–6 m/s: Moderate wind – Still suitable for beginners
7–9 m/s: Fresh wind – Suitable for beginners in sheltered waters and intermediate paddlers
10–12 m/s: Strong wind – Requires experience; sheltered routes recommended
13+ m/s: Strong wind – Paddling is strongly discouraged.
Packing list – What should you wear and take with you on the kayak trip?
